Jordan received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Michigan in 2013.  As an undergraduate, he was an analyst for the Michigan Regional Comprehensive Metabolomics Resource Core (MRC^2), an NIH-funded center designed to improve disease diagnosis through metabolomic profiling.  His research at the MRC^2 focused on developing methods to quantify low abundance or unstable metabolites in biological samples. Currently, his research focus is centered around using “omics” technologies to identify novel pathways linked to obesity, and the putative identification of unidentified metabolites linked to certain disease phenotypes.
