Taylor is a critical care and vascular neurologist in the Department of Neurology at MGH and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He completed his MD and PhD training at Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on metabolite predictors of neurovascular disease in an effort to identify novel pathways involved in neurological injury. He has also developed and expanded methods for metabolite profiling with a particular focus on low abundance metabolites.
